Description
The South Africa Ambush Mine is a large shrapnel mine versatile enough to be used against personnel, vehicles, or low flying helicopters. the warhead contains 600 individual cylindrical fragments measuring 10 mm in diameter. Upon initiation, the fragments are dispersed in a fan-like pattern extending to 100 meters. The Ambush Mine is electrically command and detonated. The mine utilizes two pairs of folding scissor-type legs to hold it in position.
