FMK-3
Antitank Mine

Description
The FMK-3 antitank mine is a conventional blast mine intended to destroy or
damage wheeled and tracked vehicles. The olive drab mine uses an FML-1 antipersonnel
mine as a fuze. The mine body has a plastic rectangular case with slightly tapered
sides and rounded corners. The top has a recessed well with a small central
opening through which an adapter fits. Each side of the mine has retaining pins
which secure the mine body to the base. These mines were used extensively during
the Falkland Island War.
