Antipersonnel Mine

Description
The MIN is a relatively simple Vietnamese fragmentation mine. The mine is placed above ground level by attaching it to the top of a stake. The mine is functioned when the tripwire of the fuze is pulled. The fragments are created by the break-up of the cast iron body when the explosive charge is detonated.
